Ultimacomm firstly published by Universitas Multimedia Nusantara

Drs. Indiwan Seto Wahyu Wibowo, M.Si was appointed as the Chief Editor of Ultimacomm. The journal
editorial board members were F.X. Lilik Dwi Mardjianto, M.A., Dr. Endah Murwani, and Ambang
Priyonggo, M.A.

Vol. 8 No. 1 2016
F.X. Lilik Dwi Mardjianto, Head of Journalism Department of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, is
appointed as the editor in chief of Ultimacomm
The journal was redesigned in order to make it easier to read. Among the major changes is the design of
the cover. The layout is also changed from two-columns into one-column.
New editors and reviewers were appointed. The editors were Adi Wibowo Octavianto, M.Si, Dr. Bobi
Guntarto, Camelia C. Pasandaran, M.Si, Cendera Rizky Anugrah Bangun, M.Si. The reviewers were
Ambang Priyonggo, MA, Dr. Endah Murwani, Dr. Moch. Kresna Noer, M.Si, Nunik Maharani.,
M.Comn&MediaSt(Mon), Dr. Rini Darmastuti
Each volume published five papers.

Camelia Pasandaran, M.Si, research coordinator of the Faculty of Communication of Universitas
Multimedia Nusantara is appointed as the chief editor of the journal.

Vol. 11, No 1, 2019
Two new editors join Ultimacomm, Hendar Putranto, M.Si, who are specialized in ethics and philosophy,
and media expert Ignatius Haryanto. Both are lecturers of the Faculty of Communication, Universitas
Multimedia Nusantara. Hanif Suranto, M.Si joins the editorial board.
The focus of the journal is narrowed into Digital Journalism and Strategic Communication Studies.

Vol. 11, No. 2, 2019
Dr. Lestari Nurhajati, communication lecturer of London School of Public Relations, Jakarta and board
member of Indonesian Communication Journal Publisher Association (APJIKI) joined the reviewer board.
Starting this volume, the number of the article published per issue is seven.

Vol. 12, No.1, 2020
Three communication researchers join the reviewer board: Dr. Daniel Susilo from Universitas Dr.
Soetomo, Surabaya, Dr. Rustono Farady Marta from Universitas Bunda Mulia, Jakarta, and Dr. Eriyanto
from Universitas Indonesia.
Starting from this issue onward, the journal publishes nine articles per issue.

Ellen M. Yasak, M.A. (Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi, Malang) and Dr. Fany Lesmana (Universitas
Kristen Petra, Surabaya join the editorial board.
Desideria Cempaka Wijaya Murti, Ph.D from Universitas Atmajaya Yogyakarta, Dr. Irwa Zarkasi from
Universitas Al Azhar, Jakarta, and Yearry Panji Setianto Ph.D from Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa join
the journal as reviewers.

Dr. Daniel Susilo, M.I.Kom is selected as the Chief Editor of Ultimacomm. Dr. Camelia Pasandaran, M.Si.
serves as the Deputy Editor in Chief. A new member of editorial board join the team: Teguh Dwi
Putranto, M.Med.Kom from Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya.
New international reviewers join the team: Dr. Malinee Khumsupa (Chiang Mai University, Thailand)
and Myra V. de Leon, Ed.D (De La Salle University, Philippines). Dr. Rahma Sugihartati (Universitas
Airlangga, Surabaya) and Dr. Wira Yudha Alam (Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya) join the reviewer board.
Starting this issue onward, the journal publishes ten articles per issue. While previously the journal
published articles in Indonesian language and English, starting this issue the journal only publishes
articles in English.
