PROGRAM KEMANDIRIAN MASYARAKAT PENINGKATAN USAHA DAN BRANDING WARUNG BAKSO "MAS DI"
Abstract
The impact of the pandemic has affected small businesses like Bakso, both those selling on the go and those with fixed stalls at home. Although the Bakso business has been impacted by the pandemic, it still remains one of the promising businesses for its owners. This is because Bakso is a food that is loved by many, such as the home-based Bakso Stall located in Perumahan Legok Permai, Legok Village, Legok Subdistrict, Tangerang Regency. This Bakso stall has been running well since 2017. The goal of this community service is to assist the home-based Bakso SMEs in improving their production process and marketing efforts. The team will provide training and guidance on both production processes and marketing. Production training will include introducing standard recipes that ensure consistent taste and appearance of Bakso, meeting hygiene standards, and presenting it in an appealing way. Meanwhile, in marketing, training will be given on how to build branding and marketing through digital transformation, such as utilizing social media and marketplace marketing. Additionally, the team will provide assistance in the form of added equipment for serving Bakso, such as bowls, spoons, forks, and kitchen supplies like stoves, gas, and cooking pots. Based on the Community Empowerment Activities (KKM) that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the "Improving Business and Branding for Home-Based Bakso Stalls" community service has been successfully implemented, which includes: improving production/service quality and enhancing marketing/branding.
