The Effect of Interpersonal Communication and Group Communication on Group Cohesiveness at Persebaya Korwil Suramadu Supporters

Abstract

Football is one of the most popular sports around the world, both nationally and internationally. Indonesia ranks second as the country loves the ball with the percentage of 77% of the population in Indonesia fond of football. The presence of this football supporter group has a positive and negative impact. The purpose of this study is to determine whether interpersonal communication and group communication affect the cohesiveness of the group on the supporters Persebaya Korwil Suramadu.               This research is included in this type of causal research. Population and sample in this research is Persebaya Korwil Suramadu Supporter as many as 78 people. Sampling technique in this research use non probability sampling. Analysis technique of this research use multiple linear regreai analysis.

            The results in this study indicate that the Interpersonal Communication and Communications Group has a significant influence on group cohesiveness in Persebaya Korwil Suramadu Supporter
