Ownership

Ultima InfoSys: Jurnal Ilmu Sistem Informasi is fully owned and published by the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics, Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN), a higher education institution based in Tangerang, Indonesia. All legal rights, publishing assets, and trademarks associated with the journal belong entirely to Universitas Multimedia Nusantara. The university is committed to supporting the journal’s long-term sustainability while maintaining a clear separation between university administration and editorial decision-making. Any change to the journal’s title, ownership, or ISSN will be announced publicly on the journal’s website and reported to the relevant ISSN centre, Crossref, and indexing services.

Management and Editorial Independence

• The Editorial Team:Holds sole responsibility for the academic content of the journal, the selection of reviewers, the double-blind peer review process, and final publication decisions. The university administration does not interfere with or influence any editorial judgment or manuscript selection.
• The Publishing and Technical Team:Handles the technical maintenance of the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, layout editing, proofreading coordination, DOI registration, digital archiving, and indexing.

Financial Sustainability and Business Model

Ultima InfoSys operates under an Open Access business model. To sustain its operations, peer review management, digital preservation, and web hosting, the journal relies on the following funding sources:

• Annual financial support and infrastructure provided by Universitas Multimedia Nusantara.
• An Article Processing Charge (APC) of Rp. 750,000, - charged to authors only after their manuscript has been officially accepted for publication. There are no submission fees, and editorial decisions are never influenced by an author’s ability to pay the APC.
